Nowadays we frequently hear the question whether the future of jainism is bright or not , now here it depends on the future we are talking ,
.Is it near future or ARA that we are talking about?

NEAR FUTURE
The future of Jainism is very bright if all the jains consider jainism as a "Dharma" and not a particular "Caste".
We as jains see and expect others to see jainism as a caste but if we need to spread jainism as DHARMA(DHARAM) and an ideology (SOCH) . The least we can do is we do not criticize or even say a negative word about our DHARMA, we need to follow as much as we can and if not we do not need to be tensed or spread any negative ideology about our relegion.
ACCORDING TO 5TH ARA's END AND BEGINNING OF 6TH(ERA)
It has been predicted By the many acharyas and knowledged sadhus that when the end of the 5th ara comes there will be only 4 Jains left.
Also this chovisi which is known as 'Dukham' , the jain religion would have diminish to merely 4 Jains (sadhu, sadhvi, shravak, shravika) and by the start of the 6th ara called as 'Dukham Dukham', there will be no signs of Jainism left in the world.
Now it depends on which cycle or chovisi are we talking about
Again in the next chovisi 24 great men will be born and will break the chain of rebirth and gt rid of their karma and will attain the final eternity and will be known as TIRTHANKARS
They will preach the same deeper essence of jainism and will bring to light this great values of jainism .
So lets come together and just follow the great essence and the great values our religion preaches us and be proud to be a JAIN.
AND LETS NOT FORGET THAT WHETHER IN THIS OR SOME OTHER CHOVISI MAY OUR DHARMA OR POPULATION EXTINCT BUT LETS NOT FORGET THAT IT WILL BE RELIVED IN EVERY OTHER CHOVISI WITH ANY NAME BUT IT WILL LAST FOREVER AS IT IS "SHASVAT" (ETERNAL).
